Miso Crunchy Cabbage Salad

This is a great, nutritious and crunchy salad to serve with our gourmet dumplings.

SALAD INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 Green Cabbage or Savoy Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 Carrot - shredded
  • 150g Snow Peas, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp roughly chopped fresh Mint or Coriander
DRESSING INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Tbsp Miso Paste (either white or red miso), diluted in a 4 Tbsp lukewarm water
  • 2 Tbsp Tamari or Gluten Free Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • Pinch of White Pepper
  • 1 tsp toasted Sesame Seeds to sprinkle over salad (optional)
    METHOD:
    1. Toss the prepared vegetables to mix together.
    2. Place dressing ingredients in a glass jar. Close the lid and shake the jar a few times so that dressing ingredients are evenly mixed.
    3. Drizzle a small amount of dressing to coat the salad mix, let it stand and marinate for 5-10mins.
    4. Pour the desired amount of the dressing over salad when ready to serve. Serve with House of Goodness dumplings.
